![]() ![]() Now I'm going to need to avoid spoilers like crazy when number 3 comes out but I was wondering if it would be a better idea to skip 2 and go back to it after 3 since I'll be playing right from the get go with everyone else, or hold off on 3 until I finish the 2nd one. Also, I won't have time to play the second one due to my final exams this week so it'll have to wait until after 3 is already out in the wild (I'm planning on getting DS3 for PS4 btw). Now I did buy Dark Souls 2 in a steam sale back during the holidays but didn't have much time to play it because of school, and lo and behold, my final semester is finishing up on the 11th (1 day before number 3 comes out). ![]() ![]() Dark Souls 2 has the best gameplay in the series, the amount of builds possible was insane, such diversity in its. I played through the first Dark Souls and Bloodborne, and borrowed my friend's copy of Demon Souls years ago (but never beat and gave it back to him way before Dark Souls was ever announced). Yes some stuff in Dark Souls 2 doesn't make sense (like the poison mill area leading to the hell area, I don't know what they were thinking), but as a whole I think it's a really great game, and it was for me more memorable than 3. I'm extremely excited for Dark Souls 3 coming out next week and I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to hold off on it until I beat the second one. Still, Ive heard loads of good thing about Future Press Souls guides, especially how it covers lore. He said he wanted to go into Dark Souls III blind, so he wouldnt work on the guide if there was one. i never had those experiences watching movies even action packed ones like star wars in the 70s and indiana jones and back to the future in the 80s.Hey guys and gals! Was just looking for some advice! EpicNameBro seemed pretty burned out after doing the BB guide, so not surprised if he isnt involved. But they are not perfect and it annoys me that they lack certain features ive come to expect this gen. RDR2, Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2, SoTC and i enjoy them. In lords of the fallen, a lot of time you are forced to fight 5+ enemies simultaneously, because as of now, the shared agrro between them is insane. I go back and play my favorites all the time. Gank in Dark Souls of course can catch you off guard, but after dying once, you would know to lure and pick them off one by one. It's crazy how much more punishing the latter is in boss battles and how much more sluggish your character feels in combat. ![]() The graphics and levels were better and bigger too. Note to self: do not spend a day playing Dark Souls 3 and then attempt to go back to Lies of P. They are hidden behind an illusionary wall at the end of the corridor by the blacksmith. Now with TLOU2 graphics fidelity and some minor gameplay enhancements it shouldve been my game of the gen for PS4 but nope, it didnt even come close to beating TLOU2 because the gameplay was leagues ahead. The End of Fire For this ending, you need to find the eyes in Dark Firelink Shrine. All players need to do to get To Link the First Flame as. Most recently, I played TLOU remake on PC. This ending is the vanilla conclusion to the Dark Souls 3 story, and is thus the easiest one to unlock. Nexus was the best, followed by Firelink, then Majula. Im hoping it will be like the Nexus in DeS. Souls games were not that balanced for grinding to win. I really hope the opening is mysterious like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. The bosses were mostly well-designed, so it played into the concept of replayability for Souls games being a sort of speedrun/boss rush mode. timeless to me is something you can watch 50 years from now and it still holds up. The biggest fault with Dark Souls 3 was that it was mostly linear, with fairly shallow and rare side paths. hell, tomb raider had blocky faces and they looked better.Įven MGS3 and Half Life 2 which are two of my favorite games of all time have a lot of issues that keep those games from being perfect let alone timeless. Coming from 2d and 3d fighting games, it was very jarring. The older games like MGS had a lot of graphics issues that completely took my out of the experience. They have actual interactive elements that can always be improved. ive been playing games since the atari days and there is no such thing as a timeless perfect game. ![]()
